Building Shots Drills: Dribble Combination Shooting

Описание к видео Building Shots Drills: Dribble Combination Shooting

This is one of my favorite drills to use with clients. It helps them to improve their balance and rhythm by continuously testing their handwork!

The more force you can use to dribble the basketball, the easier it will be to relax your hands and let them move around the ball (good) instead of using them to pull the ball (bad).

Remember these three key teaching points:

1. One live dribble to start:

Take a live dribble first, and then get into the dribble combo.

2. Feet + Hands:

On your pick-up, quickly replace your feet under your frame while you load the ball with your hands. The key to being a great shooter is having your feet, hips, and hands work together in rhythm and on balance.

3. Distance:

There is no need to shoot these from deep. These warm-up shots are a time to tighten your technicians and understand how your feet, hips, and hands work together.

Nothing deeper than 15 feet is needed here.
