Kawasaki ZX-4RR: It's all about the Engine!

It is all about the Engine!

Warm (62F) December day engine sound therapy ride on my Kawasak ZX-4RR 40th Anniversary model! (Thanks Pony Powersports, Columbus, Ohio!) What a FUN bike!!! 400cc 4-cylinder engine that revs to a 16,000RPM redline and sounds amazing!!! The US models are restricted to about 52hp at the rear wheel while Europe engine settings product about 70hp. The ZX-4RR is very fun stock so I can only imagine how good it would be at full power! The chassis is agile and the suspension firm enough yet with a plush feel on the bumps. Ergo's are a little less aggressive than a Kawasaki ZX6 Ninja but felt OK for my 6'2" 190 body. I test rode a black ZX-4RR a few weeks ago and really got me thinking buying one....then I saw this bike in the 40th anniversary colors (blue/white/green) and it knocked me on the fence! Kawasaki Let's the Good Times Roll!
