DOOM is a first person shooter released in 2016. It is a reboot of the well known series. They announced a sequel yesterday. Hell yes.

This game has excellent combat variety. It achieves this with many different enemy types, weapons, weapon mods and interesting arenas. The amount of non-intuitive mechanics and little tricks you can learn and use to your advantage is enormous. The amount of weird things that can kill you is also very large.

I did not expect this much from the game. I wanted to put all the weird things i learned in the pinned comment but YouTube comments are too short. No one would read it anyway. So there are just recommendations, i guess. Don't really want to write notes for the rooms too. Just ask if you want to know something.

I had problems running the game and recording. I tried to fix them but failed. Look at the channel name again.
Everything is recorded on Nightmare. Everything is done with checkpoint resets. All bossfights are edited together.

If you would like to see a much better player go through the game in a similar way, i recommend this channel:    / @clockner  .
Clockner does entire levels instead of just resetting checkpoints, the videos have much higher quality and i can't even find the words to say how much better he is at the game. His videos inspired me to do this and you can see me use many of his tricks in the Kadingir segments (9:28 - 16:53).

I think these videos are very different from mine and especially from the videos recommended above, but i enjoyed them a lot, i've learned so much from this player. Things like Siege Glitch (27:55) and good Rune setups, for example. I think that there's no wrong way to play as long as you get what you want out of a game. But there are things that work - that get you through - and there's everything else. On this channel you can see things that are easy to do and work exceptionally well.

Unlike unrestricted DS2 Hardcore, Ultra-Nightmare is actually difficult, i think each of these runs is a great achievement.
