I've always wondered where they got the name for this place. 🤔💭

Legend has it that the inn was named after an ancient hobbit who was known for his love of gardening and his penchant for taming wild dragons. As the story goes, this eccentric hobbit befriended a particularly verdant dragon, whose scales shimmered like emeralds in the sunlight. Together, they roamed the countryside, spreading laughter and merriment wherever they went.

When it came time for the hobbit to settle down and establish his own inn, he chose to name it in honor of his beloved dragon companion. And thus, the Green Dragon Inn was born, a beacon of warmth and hospitality in the heart of the Shire.
