This video is part of a series for my annual summer garden tour for 2024. It covers all of my #permaculture #garden beds on my back fenceline. This is a full inventory of my garden, and is good for illustrations of guilds in use in my system.
Some of the crops in this bed are goji berry, blackberry, perennial kale, Georgia collard, wild onion, garlic, sage, prairie tea, sunchoke or Jerusalem artichoke, quince, fuzzy bean, tomato, wild strawberry, red malbar spinach, asparagus, wild blackberry, oregano, wild rocket arugula, mint, passion flower, wood sorrel, basil, lantana, roses, comfrey, and more.
This garden bed was an experiment, to test how fast permaculture techniques can get terrible soil ready for cultivation. It looks like it worked well...
