Under Review __

JROTC – Box Cost - $19 Plus Shipping and Handling Per Month
Sniper Veil – Source Country: USA
No Complaints this is a nice Veil for snowy environments.

Snow Poncho – Source Country: Germany
Pros- Excellent body coverage, nice pattern for snowy environments. Size was an issues and limited mobility- Getting caught under legs getting up from prone, snagged on vegetation.
Cons- Elastic Arm bands occasionally got hung up on under layers. Not Water Resistant/Repellant
Overall thoughts for this level-
Box was worth the money at this level.

New Recruit—Box Cost- $49 Plus Shipping and Handling Per Month
Winter Balaclava—Source Country: Canada/USA
Pros- Warm, Nice fleece, Good stitching/
Cons- Size was too large for me personally- rotated on my head under movement and covered eyes- couldn’t get it to stay over my nose.

Head Lamp—Source Country: France
Pros- Nice Quality light, Two Settings.
Possible Con- Green glow around light stays illuminated – makes it easy to find but also tactical disadvantage when off.
Overall thought for this level-
Again this level is worth the money the head Lamp alone cost between 20 – 30 dollars online.

Seasoned Non-Com – Box Cost- $99 Plus Shipping and Handling Per Month
Winter Gloves – Source Country: Poland
Pros- Warm Gloves, sturdy construction.
Cons- Size the gloves were too large for me and would start to slip off during work.
Tactical Armband – Source Country: Canada/USA
Pros – Nice piece of gear for tactical use.
Cons- White color limits its use, limited use outside of a tactical situation.

Snow Pants – Source Country: Germany
Pros – Don’t add a lot of noise, plenty of room to wear layers underneath.
Cons – The plastic on the ends made it hard to untied- but those are easily removed

Overall thoughts for this level—
The money is in this box again, a comparable Tactical Armband cost 30- 40 dollars. But usability takes a hit at this level, now we have two pieces of gear that don’t fit properly and one piece of gear with Limited time frame and terrain for its intended use.

Elite – Box Cost- $139 Plus Shipping and Handling Per Month
Drop-Leg Rig – Source Country – Poland
Pros – Flexible rig, nice capacity for both pouches, easy to set up.
Cons – White color again limits its use.
Overall thought for this level –
While the money may be at this level the usability again takes a hit since this level only has the one item I am disappointed. At this level I have two things that are out of size enough for me to not use them, and two more items that have limited use.


Final Thoughts ___
Gear Quality 8.5/ 10 – Only the Balaclava seemed a little cheap.
Usability 5/10 – Color make the use too limited for the tactical gear provided.
Customer service 10/10 – Box was late but they sent an email and gave a discount on December’s box and offered a 50% discount to items in their online store.
Overall rating for November’s box-
7 out of 10
Again I appreciate the theme of this box, but that also leads to the issues I have with the box. Part of the Marketing for this box is tactical gear so when I get something like the Tactical Armband that I probably won’t use I don’t fault the box. However the all-white color means that certain areas won’t be able to use this gear at all and most other areas will be limited.
