​In this video, I demonstrate how a seemingly harmless Telegram link—specifically a proxy configuration link—can be used to expose your IP address to an attacker's server instantly.
​How it works:
The attacker sets up a simple listener (as seen in the terminal on the left). When a victim clicks a "fake proxy" username or link, the Telegram app attempts to connect to that server to verify the proxy settings. This handshake immediately reveals the victim's public IP address to the attacker, even if they don't click "Connect."
​How to Stay Safe:
​Never click proxy links (t.me/proxy?...) from untrusted sources or random groups.
​Use a trusted VPN if you are concerned about your IP being leaked.
​Be wary of usernames or bots promising "Free High-Speed Proxies."
