Creating an organization and adding an account in AWS Organizations involves a series of steps through the AWS Management Console.
Here's a step-by-step guide for creating an organization and adding an account:

Step 1:
Sign in to the AWS Management Console
Go to the AWS Management Console.
Sign in with your AWS account credentials.

Step 2:
Create an AWS Organization
In the AWS Management Console, navigate to the "AWS Organizations" service. You can find it in the "Management & Governance" section.

Choose "Create organization."

Select the organization type:

Consolidated Billing: For organizations that want to consolidate billing across multiple AWS accounts.
All features: For organizations that want to consolidate billing and use all AWS Organizations features.
Enter an organization name.

Choose "Create."

Step 3:
Create an AWS Account
After creating the organization, you can add an AWS account to it.

In the AWS Organizations console, select "Add account" from the left navigation pane.

Choose "Create Account."

Fill in the required information for the new account:

Account name: A friendly name for the account.
Email: Email address associated with the new account.
IAM role name: (Optional) The name of the IAM role that AWS Organizations will create in the new account for organization management.
Choose "Create."

AWS Organizations will provide you with an account ID and a temporary password for the new account. Make sure to securely store this information.

Step 4:
Verify Email for the New Account
An email will be sent to the email address provided for the new account.

In the email, there will be a link to verify the email address and complete the account creation process.

Step 5:
Sign in to the New Account
Open a new browser window and go to the AWS Management Console.

Sign in using the temporary password provided in the email for the new account.

Follow the on-screen instructions to set a new password.

Step 6:
Confirm the New Account in AWS Organizations
In the AWS Organizations console, go to the "Accounts" section.

Verify that the new account is listed as part of the organization.

Congratulations! You have successfully created an AWS organization and added a new account to it. This organization can now be used for consolidated billing, service control policies, and other organizational governance features provided by AWS Organizations.
