Church of the Ascension of the Virgin Mary. Ukraine 🏔️ Костел в урочищі Червоне

Not far from the ruins of the Krasnogorodsky castle in 1615, thanks to the Lisetsky spouses, the Church of the Ascension of the Virgin Mary was erected. Its walls, though dilapidated, still bear evidence of the greatness of this architectural skill. Spacious interiors, decorated with ancient frescoes and massive columns, are stunning in their beauty, which has been preserved by the irrepressible attention of time. Among them, like muses in their tenderness, memorable tables and portraits full of the unique charm of past eras have been preserved. Once upon a time, the sacred building was enveloped in living quarters and modest cells of the Dominican monastery, which weaved their days in prayers and minds. But time steadily leads its way, and now only stone witnesses of the shrine testify to the power of the past. Under the very feet, in mysterious dungeons, sleep ancient secrets that are quietly hiding from the gaze of the world. The roof of the church has long been destroyed, but the vault still holds, although it already has dips and cracks. Gables hold steady, like faithful guardians of the past. They show niches for sculptures or paintings and an old cross. Today there was hope for the restoration of the church

Неподалік від руїн Червоногородського замку у 1615 році завдяки подружжю Лісецьких було зведено домініканський Костел Вознесіння Діви Марії. Його стіни, хоч і напівзруйновані, ще й досі несуть свідоцтво про велич цієї архітектурної майстерності. Просторі інтер'єри, оздоблені старовинними фресками та масивними колонами, приголомшують своєю красою, яка збереглася невгамовною увагою часу. Серед них, немов музи у своїй ніжності, збереглися пам'ятні таблиці та портрети, сповнені неповторного шарму минулих епох. Колись сакральну будівлю огортали житлові приміщення та скромні келії монастиря домініканців, які виткали свої дні в молитвах та розумах. Але час неухильно веде свою дорогу, і нині лише кам'яні свідки святині засвідчують могутність минулого. Під самими ногами, у таємничих підземеллях, сплять стародавні таємниці, які спокійно ховаються від пильного погляду світу. Дах костелу давно зруйнований, проте склепіння все ще тримається, хоча і має вже провали та тріщини. Також тримаються фронтони, мов вірні стражі минулого. На них видно ніші для скульптур чи розписів та старий хрест. Видно встромлені у стіну снаряди бувалих війн. Сьогодні появилась надія щодо відновлення костелу.
