Focus: Visualizing success before you start.
Jayden loved airplanes. He could name every jet in the sky and even slept under posters of blueprints. So when his class started a model airplane project, he rushed ahead without reading any instructions.
Fifteen minutes later, his plane looked like a confused pigeon.
“Uh… Jayden?” his friend Sasha asked. “Did you, you know, look at the box?”
Jayden sighed and checked the picture on the cover. The real model was sleek and balanced, not lopsided like his disaster.
He took a deep breath. “Okay. Restart.”
This time, he studied the final picture and imagined building toward that goal. He followed the steps carefully. Piece by piece, the plane took shape.
After school, he held it up to the sunlight. It was perfect.
Sasha grinned. “See what happens when you know where you’re going?”
Jayden nodded. “Next time, I’ll start with the end in mind.”
