Honda Livo is designed for rural and urban commuters featuring the same 110cc petrol engine that powers CB shine. The modish commuter promises to yield impressive mileage. In terms of styling, the commuter seems to be afflated from the CB Twister, body panels on the Livo lend it an all new design. Honda Livo is also built on the same diamond frame as CB Twister whereas the 110cc, four stroke, single cylinder engine has been borrowed from CB Shine. Livo range includes two variants-self drum alloy and self disc alloys.

The Honda Livo features is a commuter motorcycle which shares the lucrative 110cc segment with its sibling, the CB Shine. The bike has been targeted at urban and rural customers who need a stylish commuter motorcycle, which doesn’t compromise on fuel efficiency.

While the styling seems inspired by the CB Twister, the body panels Livo get a completely new design to give it a fresh look. The sculpted fuel tank gets aggressive fibre extensions while the bikini fairing around the headlamp gets an edgy shape. The entire bike, except for the fuel tank, panels, headlamp cowl, mirrors and the suspension springs gets a blacked-out theme, giving it dark undertones. The upright handle bar, positioning of the foot pegs and the long seat have been designed to minimise strain during commutes as well as long rides. The Livo comes with tubeless tyres and six-spoke alloy wheels as standard while a front disc brake is offered as an optional extra.

Yamaha saluto specs has been absent from the commuter segment for quite some time now with the YBR and Crux motorcycles discontinued. The Saluto is currently the Japanese manufacturer's most affordable offering in the 125cc segment. But to truly make a mark in the Indian motorcycle segment, a mass market offering is a must and that is exactly what Yamaha plans to offer today. This mystery commuter motorcycle is expected to be joined by the launch of Yamaha Ray-ZR, which was unveiled at the 2016 Auto Expo.

New TVS Victor 2016 has been launched in the country at a starting price of Rs. 49, 490 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Alongside the new Victor, the company also introduced the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V at the event. Since the 2016 Victor model is positioned above the Star City+ and Star City Sport, it is slightly more upmarket than the previous model. The new TVS Victor bike will compete against the Bajaj Discover, Honda Livo, Mahindra Centuro, Hero Passion Pro and others 100cc-110cc bikes in the segment.

With new styling, additional features and affordable pricing, the bike targets entry-level executive motorcycle buyers. After splitting with Suzuki, the TVS Victor was the first bike manufactured by the home-grown automaker that gave a great start to the new company. Long story short, it’s the Victor that helped TVS reach where it is today – a successful home-grown bikemaker.
