After years of unnecessary diesel allocation, we are now finally seeing Richmond get hybrids that much better suit the landscape. A handful of 2009 NovaLFS HEVs were recently transferred from Hamilton Transit Centre to Richmond, presumably to serve local routes such as Route 406 in Steveston.

This is rumoured to be the first of a series of obscure transfers throughout the system. but we’ll have to see :)
