RECIFE, BRAZIL. Join us for a tour of Recife — the fourth-largest city in Brazil and the largest city in Brazil's Northeast. It's a fascinating place with a deep history — modern and full of skyscrapers, yet Afro-Brazilian and old European at the same time. Like everywhere in Brazil, the culture, food, and architecture is a blend of these diverse influences.

Here's a list of where we went:
1. Bar Restaurante Santa Cruz: A traditional boteco with Portuguese flavor. We try couscous with stew chicken and beef along with fried cheese.
2. Mercado Boa Vista
3. Mercado Sao Jose: An artisanal market in the heart of historic Recife. Built in 1871, the hundreds of vendors sell crafts, seafood, and miscellaneous souvenirs.
