Materials:
Knitting needles
Ball of yarn - your working yarn
1 x bobbin of grey
1 x bobbin of pink
Darning needle

This tutorial uses Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran x 2 shades: https://www.lovecrafts.com/en-au/p/de...

Steps:
00:00 Intro
02:26 Start by knitting a couple of rows in a standard stocking stitch.
Knit up to where your colour block begins.
03:00 When it’s time for your first colour change, take your bobbin with your new colour (which is pink in the video) and make a simple loop. Knit into the next stitch and then use your new colour to pull through. Make sure your colour change yarn is always sitting underneath your working yarn, as this will trap the yarn and avoid holes.
03:32 Knit with new colour for desired length.
03:43 When you’re ready to change back to your original colour, take your bobbin which is the same colour as the working yarn you began with, make a simple loop and knit.
04:35 Knit to the end of the row and turn the work.
05:30 Purl the next row. Purl back to the point where you change colour.
05:50 Using the pink attached to the bobbin, purl the length of your colour block.
06:58 Colour change and purl to the end.
Once you’ve reached the end of your row, carefully turn your work around.
Continue on next rows to complete your swatch.
08:39 Sew in the ends.

Top Tips
1:54 You can make your own bobbins by winding yarn around pieces of paper.

7:00 When you change colour, loop the new shade of yarn behind the previous yarn as you knit, capturing and securing the yarn you are leaving behind. This is a great way to avoid holes in your work.

7:20 When you’re working with multiple bobbins it’s so easy to get in a tangle. To avoid knots, take time to straighten out strands as you go! (You’ll thank us later!)

9:10 If you find some pesky holes in your design when you’ve finished knitting, no troubles! Simply close any gaps as you sew in the ends.
