Woodturning - Rough Edge Wood !!

We started activities to regenerate trees that were cut for various reasons.

In this video, a woodlathe is used to create a vase from an unusually shaped log by woodturning.

小さくではありますが、様々な理由により切られた木を再生する活動を始めました。

この動画は、奇抜な形のカイヅカイブキの丸太から木工旋盤を使ってオブジェのような器を製作しています。
手法は、ウッドターニング(西洋木工ろくろ)というものになります。

この複雑な形状の丸太からから、どのような作品が生まれるのでしょうか？！
