Filmed on December 7, 2025 along the Nora Bergslags Veteran Railway in Örebro County. The railway is a standard gauge museum railway that runs 25 kilometers between Nora and Järle. NBJ was inaugurated in 1856 between Nora and Ervalla, and then became the first standard gauge railway in Sweden. It had traffic until 1985 when it was closed. Today, museum traffic is conducted on the track, and in this video you can follow along and see when the Santa train runs in the dark month of December. The train is pulled by the steam locomotive SJ E2 1182, manufactured in 1914 by Motala Verkstad. The journey starts in Nora and goes to Järle station, where the locomotive makes a round trip for the return trip. The video was partly recorded at Nora station, and partly in Järle at the mighty bridge over the Järleån River and at the station.
