The Sony ICF-38 AM FM Portable Radio is a wonderful, all analog Tuning Experience. Expect Great Audio from the Three and Half Inch Speaker. The Radio also has an Accurate, and Easy to Read Dial. Tone Control, AC/DC Operation, and Simple Controls make this model a Winner :) It is always a Joy to Bring this One out for Daytime Listening.

Overall, the Daytime AM Reception is Good. The use of a Terk Advantage Passive Loop pushes the limits of this Radio. A solid Combination to Use if you're a fan of the AM band, and Love an All Analog Circuit.
