When they make a strong argument that keeps you interested, those are some of the best episodes in this series. In The Rookie Season 8 Episode 3, a courageous young woman named Samantha and David Krumholtz's portrayal of evil as Ezra encountered a horrible ordeal.
Seth was unexpectedly reintroduced during the hour, though perhaps that's not such a bad thing.
The show's dark cases are some of its greatest parts, and this one was undoubtedly dark. It reminded me of something from Criminal Minds' early seasons.

It was interesting to watch how Nolan, Harper, and Lopez conducted the inquiry after that. I adore it when they fully capitalize on Nolan's "Aw shucks" non-intimidating charm.
He is therefore among the greatest at disarming suspicions since, for the most part, nobody really anticipates it.

He is affable, skilled at small conversation, and when he probes, it can come across as so sincere that people don't immediately realize he's attempting to trap them or obtain important information.
Additionally, it's frequently too late when they do pick it up. Yes, the interrogation was a perfect illustration of why a lot of serial killers and some of the best villains in The Rookie have a strange affinity for Nolan.
Ezra spent the remainder of the hour genuinely playing with them after it took him a minute to realize what was actually happening. And in ways that made your skin crawl, the evil he harbored surfaced.
