Trevor Bauer continues to pitch great here in Japan and in the August 3rd game vs the Hiroshima Carp, threw 10 innings and did not allow a run. He faced his former Cincinnati Reds teammates Shogo Akiyama and Matt Davidson. Despite the great pitching, the Baystars were unable to provide any run support and the game eventually ended in a 0-0 tie after 12 innings.

The ballpark in Hiroshima is one of the few in the country with natural turf on the infield and the fans are among the most energetic in Japanese baseball. Watching a ballgame here is a great experience.
