जाली या जाली सिक्के, सरकारी मोहर, करेंसी-नोट या बैंक-नोट का कब्ज़ा
जिस किसी के पास राजस्व के प्रयोजन के लिए सरकार द्वारा जारी कोई जाली या नकली सिक्का, स्टांप, मुद्रा-नोट या बैंक-नोट है, वह जानता है या विश्वास करने का कारण रखता है कि वह जाली या नकली है और उसका उपयोग करने का इरादा रखता है। असली के रूप में या इसका असली के रूप में उपयोग किया जा सकता है, तो सात साल तक की कैद या जुर्माना या दोनों से दंडित किया जाएगा।

Using as genuine, forged or counterfeit coin, Government stamp, currency-notes or bank notes

BNS Section 180 makes it illegal for any person to traffic or use forged or counterfeit coins, stamps, currency notes, or banknotes as if they were genuine.

Whoever sells or delivers to, or buys or receives from, any other person, or otherwise traffics or uses as genuine, any forged or counterfeit coin, stamp issued by Government for the purpose of revenue, currency-note or bank-note, knowing or having reason to believe the same to be forged or counterfeit, shall be punished with imprisonment for life, or with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to ten years, and shall also be liable to fine.
