Everyone knows that it was Scar’s bad attitude that got him all but kicked out of Mufasa’s Pride of lions, but there was always something that seemed off about the evil lion- more than just his villainous mindset. After re-watching Disney’s The Lion King, both the animated and the live-action reimagined versions, it’s clear that Scar wasn’t shunned because of his desire to become the King of Pride Rock. It’s actually the other way around, and if this concept is true, then there may be some truth to one fan theory that thinks that there’s a good chance that Scar was dying of some sort of disease throughout the entire movie!
