Come with me to discover the famous Harbin Ice Festival. This festival, held annually in Harbin, is known as the largest ice and snow festival in the world! Not only that, but this festival is held in -40°c weather, making it more of an unusual experience for tourists coming from warmer climates.

In this video, I give you an inside look at how it looks like. With huge ice statues, insanely fun rides and unique activities, I take you along with me to discover the wonders this festival has to offer.

Below is how I was able to buy tickets.

1. You can either buy online or in person, with students or seniors having a significant discount
2. Download the app called Ctrip (携程旅行 in chinese)
3. In the search bar on the homepage, type in 哈尔滨国际冰雪节and select it from the dropdown menu of attractions. This is the main venue and the most popular part of the Ice Festival.
4. Select Your Ticket Type and Date: You will be taken to the attraction's page. Here, you can see the different ticket options.
5. Choose your visit date: Be mindful that ticket prices can be higher during peak periods like the Spring Festival (Chinese New Year) holidays or even weekends
6. Select the number of tickets: Tickets are usually priced around 300-330 RMB per person.
7. Enter the visitor's details that appear on your travel documents.

Make sure you show your:
Full name: As shown on the passport.
Passport number: This is mandatory for entry .

9. Save Your E-Ticket. Save this QR code on your phone (take a screenshot as a backup in case of poor internet connection) and keep your passport handy, as you will need both to scan and enter the park.

FINALLY, the some activities may be unable due to what time you arrive. SOme activities close earlier than others so be mindful of that when going. There are also much more activities than those featured in the videos so I would recommend spending the whole day there!
