Wayne County Hazardous Waste Town Hall, September 4, 2024

A Town Hall is being hosted by Congresswoman Debbie Dingell, in collaboration with Wayne County Executive Warren C. Evans, to address the transport and storage of hazardous waste at Wayne Disposal Inc. and actions to ensure community safety on Wednesday, September 4th at 6:00 PM at the Ted Scott Campus of Wayne County Community College.

Additional speakers include representatives from Republic Services (landfill), the State of Michigan (DOT and EGLE), USACE, the EPA, and other state and local officials.

Van Buren Township Township has been working diligently behind the scenes to facilitate this event, ensuring that residents have direct access to their representatives. The Township is providing a stream of the event on YouTube.
