This was a quick video I made before my third test march on the Sarcina. The Sarcina was the name given to the pack carried on the pole or 'Furca'. It's made up of the patera (mess tin) loculus (satchel) water bottle, oil canteen, goatskin, cloak bag and net bag. I also carry a wax writing tablet, leg wraps, spare leather straps, ball of string and a ball of beeswax.
