4K GWR 5553 Small Prairie Arrives at the Northampton and Lamport Railway

The August bank holiday gala 2022 at Northampton & Lamport heritage railway is shaping up to be a grand one indeed. Great Western Railway (G.W.R) SmallPrairie 5553 is the special guest and is on its way from Peak Rail in Rowsley.
As a volunteer my task was to film every moment to the new and in progress Boughton Station, the loco being placed on our railway from the lorry and then back up the line to put 5553 away in Lamport station engine shed ready for this weekends bank holiday gala from 27th/28th/29th August. The steam engines will be working freight whilst the Diesel locomotives will be working the passenger trains up and down the line from Pitsford siding to bridge 13.
Just to note 5553 spent its last working days in 1960 at St Blazey sheds in Cornwall. St Blazey is my mothers birth town and where my grandfather worked at St Blazey sheds from 1950's until 1971. So more than likely my Grandfather worked on this locomotive many moons ago. Amazing connection.
