Red Wolves' Last Stronghold

Описание к видео Red Wolves' Last Stronghold

The Albemarle Peninsula of eastern North Carolina is a unique region, home to generations of farmers and fishermen and a rich diversity of wildlife, including a quintessentially American species: the red wolf.

On the verge of going extinct, the only remaining red wolves in the wild live here, and may be the species’ last shot at survival. Scientists at Wildlands Network have been conducting research in the area since 2015, gathering data that reveals many negative perceptions of red wolves’ impact in the community to be untrue – and shows why having more red wolves is actually advantageous.
