Alrighty guys and gals!!! I can't believe that this day has finally arrived. Over the past 3ish years that I have been in this wonderful hobby, I have never been 100% happy with any particular build. Over the years, I have simply given in to the fact that each build will have it's own challenges as well as flight characteristic quirks that I would have no choice but to "fly around". Don't get me wrong...I have builds that fly amazingly well, but if I'm honest with myself, there has always been that last 2 or 3% in the tune that I have never been able to dial in. Enter my most recent build! The combination of the 5.5 inch LoFlo frame from Colorado based Craftquads and the all Flyduino controlled Flight system coupled with T-Motor F60 Pro V2's has allowed me to push the tune to levels that have completely erased all non-desirable flight characteristics. I am completely aware that this particular tune won't work in all environments, but for the typical Southern California weather and at this altitude above sea level, It's freakin Perfect! Obviously, I can't tune out the effects of physics, but I am, for the first time, absolutely satisfied! Normally, I continually tweak PIDS, however, this time, I'm literally not going to touch a thing! With modern firmwares, tuning has become easier than ever, however, usually, before I could reach my target "feeling", I would normally begin to experience oscillations of some kind or HD video quality would begin to degrade, not so with this particular build. Who knows why this particular build is so silky...all I know is this is currently my unicorn quad. The details of this build are in the description of my last video.
