Jacklyn Sanders is a doctoral student at Walden University and a Lecturer I in the College of Agriculture and Human Sciences. She serves many roles within the college, including academic adviser, primary advisor for the Kappa Omicron Nu Honor Society, the College of Agriculture and Human Sciences Ambassadors, and secondary advisor for the Student Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics student organizations. She coordinates the Motivate and Educate for Achievement (MEA) Leadership Enhancement Program, a PVAMU-UAPB Collaborative program to deliver workforce development experiences for students. It also expands their experiences to increase their knowledge and engagement and provides students with soft skills development opportunities and leadership training. She also coordinates summer programs like Ag Discovery, which targets high school students and introduces them to the many fields of agriculture.
