Long awaited comparison between two Edifier speakers with 5 inch woofers. Edifier S1000DB and Edifier R2000DB on paper are closely matched, yet the former is around 50% more expensive than the latter. Is this price difference justified? In my opinion yes, and I think S1000DB is better value for money between these two. For starters it is better build and looks more premium. Soundwise it is superior in almost every category, it has more potent and deeper bass response, more natural and clearer midrange and more extended top end. S1000DB also can shake the room on high levels like R2000DB just can not. What is Your opinion? Which one would You choose and why? Let me know in the comments below! Cheers!
