배 잎을 말고 들어가 갉아먹는 잎말이나방이다.
주로 유충이 배나무의 잎을 말아서 속에서 은신처를 만들어 생활하면서 잎이나 꽃눈을 갉아 먹는다.
수확기에는 유충이 과실줄기를 통해 봉지 속으로 침입하여 과실에 상처를 내는 등의 피해를 입힌다.

The leafroller moth is a pest that rolls up pear leaves and feeds inside them.
The larvae primarily roll the leaves of pear trees to create a shelter and feed on the leaves or flower buds from within.
During the harvest season, the larvae may penetrate fruit bags through the fruit stems and damage the fruit.

About Youngsang Cho
Youngsang Cho is Organic Farmer. Cho learned Natural Farming from his father Hankyu Cho(Korea Natural Farming, KNF) who advocated environmental agriculture since the 1960s. Cho family has been organic farming for the third generation. Cho served in 706 special forces and graduated from Aju University (Bachelor, Chemistry) and Chungnam National Uni (Master, Horticulture). Cho has entered the Ph.D. course from the Department of Agricultural Biology at Chonbuk National University. Cho started organic agriculture in 1989. Through decades of practice and research, he created a new Ultra-Low-Cost organic agriculture system based on his father's farming and Asian traditional farming. He founded “JADAM” in 1991. In 2022, JADAM's membership exceeded 80,000.
