How I Made My Unique Handcrafted Collection of Wooden Lamps

My unique handmade collection of 24 lamps, crafted for an art show where I won the Award for Excellence in Wood. This video showcases the entire process, from start to finish, which took several months to complete.

Each lamp is made up of three parts:

• Base: Crafted from Chechen or Tinto burls, a rare species of wood from Central America.
• Stem: Made from Walnut or Padauk, connecting the base to the lampshade.
• Lampshade: Built from Walnut or Padauk with a durable tear-resistant Shoji paper. The lamps are illuminated by a dimmable amber LED for a warm, ambient glow.
