How To Repair or Replace 4-Wire Flat Trailer Wiring Connector Harness

Learn how to repair a trailer wiring harness that was damaged when borrowed by someone who did not connect the wiring to their vehicle. This is a very simple and easy repair, but does require a few items that you may not have:

Materials needed:
New wiring harness to replace the one that was damaged
Heat-shrink insulation tubing
Solder

Tools required:
Soldering iron
Wire cutters
Wire strippers
Heat source such as a blow torch, lighter, or heat gun
