Lia Block: Drag Racer? Block vs. Force - an NHRA match made in Heaven

Lia Block did a beautiful run up Pikes Peak for the 101st edition. She also joined Extreme E, racing alongside Timo Scheider, replacing 29 year old Christine GZ, and competed in the Island X Grand Prix. 16 year old Lia Block inherited the 1,400 hp Hoonicorn Mustang and the need for speed from the literal face of 2015s Need For Speed - her father Ken Block. So is professional drag racing the next natural step?

In the Hoonicorn vs. The World series on Hoonigan, under the coaching of Ken Block and the Hoonigan team, Lia Block got to race some racing greats in the desert (like Robin Shute). Was that prep enough to launch her into an NHRA pro drag career? We'll measure Lia Block against the current Queens of Speed Brittany Force, Courtney Force, and the sheer power of Funny Cars, Top Fuel Cars, and see where Lia Block is at, and where she needs to be to compete on the global NHRA drag stage. I'm not sure, but that Pikes Peak run was inspirational - I mean, that's the same mountain Robin Shute climbed, and she finished 9th in her Extreme E debut in the Island X Grand Prix - so who knows?
