Ioana Gligor-Bekesi, had a powerful and personal message: it’s time to build! The Romanian society is not ready to offer opportunities for people with special needs and help them to integrate. Unfortunately, in our country people are categorised based on their disabilities not abilities. In the last 8 years Ioana initiated and implemented projects with focus on disadvantaged people and she founded an association that has the mission to offer them access to a normal life. Ioana is a senior marketing and communication professional, working in the Creative Industries for more than 15 years. Through her work for the nonprofit sector, she promotes equality of chances and access for disabled people to a normal life. Ioana has hand-on experience in handling public project and EU funds.
