Lattice Enthalpy | Thermodynamics | Chemistry | Khan Academy

Описание к видео Lattice Enthalpy | Thermodynamics | Chemistry | Khan Academy

This video talks about the definition of Lattice Enthalpy. It also talks about how the the value of lattice enthalpy has a positive sign when we dissociate 1 mol of an ionic compound to its corresponding gaseous ions as opposed to being negative when gaseous ions combine to form 1 mol of an ionic compound. The later part of the video talks about the use of a Born-Haber cycle to calculate the value of lattice enthalpy for a given ionic compound.
