Bob Dylan - Restless Farewell (LIVE FOOTAGE 1964)

Here's a beautiful version of what is in my opinion one of Dylan's most underrated and quotable pieces. This was recorded on February 1, 1964, at CBC TV Studios in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, for the show "Quest". This episode is a 30-minute exhibit of Dylan's music (the rest of which I will upload soon) and was also the show's final episode. Subsequently, the producer of "Quest", Daryl Duke, quit CBC and moved to Los Angeles, CA to work on "The Steve Allen Show", where Dylan coincidentally appeared a month after his "Quest" performance (see this appearance here:    • Bob Dylan Interview & "The Lonesome D...  ).

Many thanks to Markie for this upgraded footage, which is a 2005 digital transfer of an original 16mm kinescope. From that, I equalized the audio and corrected some of the lighting.
