Hello dear friends. We usually film for you from our trips or while walking in the streets of the city. These days, in every corner of the city, people are preparing for the Ashura ceremony, and the sound of this special ceremony can be heard from every corner of the city. In this video, we have filmed these nights in Tehran. I hope this event is interesting for you too.

Tonight is one of the nights before Ashura, and in Iran, a special ceremony is held for Hazrat Qasim, one of the descendants of Prophet Muhammad.

On the day of Ashura, Imam Hussain had friends and companions who, during the first 10 days of Muharram, hold ceremonies in the name of one of these companions every day. This ceremony was held for Hazrat Qasim, one of the descendants of Prophet Mohammad.

In Iran, it is customary that if a young unmarried person dies, a symbolic wedding is held for him in the mourning ceremony. Qasim was also a young bachelor and his symbolic wedding will be held in this ceremony.

Some also say that Qasim really got married on this night in Karbala and this is a representation of that celebration. Confirmation or rejection of this issue is a matter that needs more research and I cannot give an opinion.
