The third chapter in this Russian artist’s pilgrimage, is forged from the confluence of post black metal’s textural expansiveness horizons and depressive black metal’s suffocating inward gaze, while daring to weave in unexpected sonic threads, from the solemn poise of neoclassicism in its opening track, the spectral shimmer of post punk or the fleeting glimpses of blackgaze blurred luminescence in the inner tracks.

What emerges is a soundscape that is fractured and cohesive, where each influence dissolves into the other as melting frost upon stone, yet there is an aching spaciousness, as if recorded in some cavern hollowed by grief. There is an intimacy in this bleakness, a sense of confession whispered through distortion, where hope withers but still lingers as a final ember.
It is a journey painted in greyscale, yet every shade vibrates with an unspoken urgency, as though each note was carved out of necessity, not choice.
