In this video, we're tackling one of Griffith Park's most rewarding and challenging hikes: the Wisdom Tree, Cahuenga Peak, and Mount Lee Summit Loop. This loop trail is known for its steep ascents and rugged terrain, but the payoff is an unbeatable 360-degree panorama of Los Angeles. Well, except on foggy mornings like this one!

What you should know:
Difficulty: This is a challenging hike with steep sections, loose rock, and a little scrambling required. Don't be fooled by the moderate overall length; this loop is a serious workout!

What to bring: Plenty of water is essential, as the trail is very exposed with little shade. Sun screen and a hat are a must too! Sturdy hiking boots or solid athletic sneakers are highly recommended for the steep and rocky sections.

Trail conditions: The trail is open year-round, but it's best to avoid hiking during the hottest part of the day. Parking can be limited on Lake Hollywood Drive, so arrive early to find a spot.
