Today, let’s look at the 5 shortcuts that can help you elevate your beginner excel skills.

Number 1. Did you know that you can zoom in and out by holding the Ctrl key on the keyboard and then use the mouse scroll up to zoom in and scroll down to zoom out?

Number 2. Did you know that you can quickly go to the last non-empty cell with Ctrl and the arrow keys? To go vertical, use the up or down arrow and for horizontal movement use the left or right arrow key.

Number 3. Want to go to the very first cell because you are tired of scrolling? Or just lost in the excel and want to return to the first cell? Just press Ctrl and Home key and you will be at cell A1.

Number 4. When someone hand you an Excel file full of sheets and you just don’t feel like using the mouse anymore? No worries, just use Ctrl + Page UP to move to previous sheet and Ctrl + Page DOWN to move to next sheet.

Number 5. Want to find something in Excel quickly? Press Ctrl + F and the pop-up screen will appear. Just type in what you want to find and hit enter. You can hit enter again to go to the next cell with whatever that you are finding.
