Climbing Peru's Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain: We Couldn't Breathe! 🇵🇪

For our one-year wedding anniversary, we had to choose between visiting the more well-known Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain, or the lesser-known Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain. We chose to go with Palccoyo for a number of different reasons, and the choice most certainly didn’t disappoint. We enjoyed a full day exploring a magical place where mountains were rainbows and alpacas roamed free. After a twelve-hour tour, we returned to the city of Cusco, where we enjoyed cuy (guinea pig), a traditional Peruvian delicacy, pisco sours, anticuchos de corazon, and a slice of tres leches cake. Everything about this day was wonderful and memorable, and we would relive it all over again if it was possible! 🇵🇪
