Описание к видео Behind the Scenes of "Always a Chance" (episode 25) of Power Rangers in Space

This is behind-the-scenes footage video recorded with permission from the crew by Dairenn Lombard ( https://x.com/dairenn ) in Los Angeles as the cast and crew of MMPR Productions and Alpha Stunts for Saban Entertainment filmed the scenes for the 25th episode of the "Power Rangers in Space" series, part of the Fox Kids Network's Power Ranger franchise, originally broadcasted in the United States in 1998. This was technically the sixth season of the series, and the 275th overall episode.

October 17 is the 25th anniversary of this episode, guest starring 2nd/3rd season "Black Ranger," Johnny Yong Bosch as 'Adam.' The episode was written by Judd Lynn and directed by 2nd unit director Koichi Sakamoto. Special effects and pyro technician John Bordeaux appears. Scenes feature notable suit actor Hiroshi Maeda who is "Red Ranger" for Power Rangers in Space as filmed in Los Angeles. Mr. Maeda was the original suit actor from Japan Action Club that performed as "Tyrannoranger" from the 1992 Toei super sentai series "Kyouruu Sentai ZYURANGER" (Dinosaur Squadron Beast Rangers).

These scenes were filmed on location in Los Angeles in Griffith Park on May 26th, 1998. This footage appears after about the 14th minute of the final cut of the episode, as broadcast to air. The end of this 40 minute video recording features a clip of the photographer having pictures taken with the suit actors that performed as the Power Rangers from the "in Space" series (based on Toei's 1997 super sentai series Denji Sentai MEGARANGER / Electromagnetic Squadron Mega Rangers).

This video was digitized in May, 2023 from the personal archives of long time TV-film production fan Dairenn Lombard; due to the age of the source analog video tape recordings, there are some imperfections in the audio visual quality.
