Today our topic is what are the essential gear in trail running and ultra running. Gears that I think are the most important running gear you can get. And I factor the cost and durability of those items - aiming to give you the biggest bang for your buck.

In the critical gear for trail running, I think trail running shoes and sport watch like garmin fenix, coros, suunto, often get a lot of visibilty. And those are important. But these are not the items that have helped me grow as a trail runner.
