To celebrate John's 100th birthday, here is a video of him receiving the Hollywood Press Lifetime Achievement Award at a ceremony held January 17, 1986, at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Presenting him the award is Linda Evans, his dear friend and "Dynasty" co-star. Many, many thanks to Mr. Dwight Blackshear who was president of the Hollywood Press Club at the time and who graciously sent me a copy of the video and allowed me to share it with you all.
