This video is a quick comparison between the T-Mobile home internet service and AT&T Uverse.

I have the AT&T U-verse 100Mbps service as that is the highest speed I can get to my home. The T-Mobile is advertised to give me between 30 - 182 Mbps. They both have unlimited data and will not throttle you down when you reach a certain amount of data. The ATT cost me around $80 monthly including the rental for the gateway. The T-Mobile will cost me $50 a month.

T-Mobile is offering a 15 day free trial so I took their offer to see if I can replace my current service. I can get 4 bars from my data control panel which is located in a small room at the center of my home. The good thing about the T-Mobile is that I can move the gateway into my second floor bedroom by the window and get full bar and use the Cat5e in that room to feed back to my switch in the data control room. But for now I am going to place the gateway in the data control room until after my test period.

This test was done right after I setup the gateway. I am not sure how the T-Mobile Gateway and the devices work together but they seem to be adjusting during the first 24 hours. It is now 5 days since I set it up and all my devices seem to find the perfect signal. I was now able to get good connection in my home excluding the garage. My AT&T service gave me an access point to use in the garage but it seem that it only works for their gateway as it keeps disconnecting when I tried using it with the T-Mobile gateway.

So far I am satisfied with the T-Mobile service. I have 2 wired desktop computer, 4 wired Security Camera (Reolink), 3 WiFi security Camera (Wyze), 1 WiFi doorbell with camera (Zmodo), 5 cell phones and a MyQ garage door opener. Everything works except for the MyQ and 1 Wyze that is located in the garage. I will need to get a new access point for the garage.
