Naisulat ko ang kantang ito noong Abril ng nakaraang taon. Dumapo sa aking isipan ang ideya na siguro kapag hindi nagkakatugma ang mga bagay, madalas ay dahil hindi talaga sila angkop para sa isa't isa. Minsan, nakabubuting lumayo muna at tingnan ang mga bagay sa ibang perspective. Lalo na sa mga relasyon kung saan parehong nasasaktan at nauupos na ang dalawang nag-iibigan, minsan ang tanging paraan upang hindi tuluyang maubos ang isa't isa ay maghiwalay muna at magmuni-muni. (I wrote this song in April of last year. The idea came to me that perhaps when things don't work out, it's often because they really aren't meant for each other. Sometimes, it's better to step away and look at things from a different perspective. Especially in relationships where both parties are hurt and exhausted, sometimes the only way to avoid completely draining each other is to separate and reflect. After some time, if they are truly meant for each other, both wounds will have healed, and they will be more ready to accept the love they can offer each other.)
