This video covers creating an inventory system using an array for GameMaker Studio 2.

You'll learn how to draw the inventory system on the GUI layer, which follows the player around using a view, toggling the visibility of the inventory, picking up items, and dropping them in a semi-random fashion.

The planned features for the second part include using the mouse to pickup/drop, items that stack and automatic stacking as well as the option to display the inventory via text rather than images.

These Inventory videos are a precursor to an Item Shop tutorial!
