This Link-3 - Cosmic Pincer Ze'loor - does a LOT of heavy-lifting.
It's good.
It's really good.
It's on par with other busted Link-3s like Rusty Bardiche and Auroradon.

It does: a search for an A-Counter-placing card on its Link Summon, removes 2 A-Counters anywhere to Normal Summon a Reptile, and (perhaps the best thing ever) changes your opponent's monsters to Defense Position and locks out their effects if they get A-Counters placed on them.

It's incredible. Combined with Alien Kid - a monster that automatically places an A-Counter on all monsters Special Summoned to your opponent's field - this thing is a walking True King of All Calamities/Bagooska-style lockdown.

Here's how you combo with it, using "Null, Dreg of the Abhyss" and "Nihil, Dreg of the Abhyss."

1. Use the effect of "Null" in your hand to send "Aleth, Dusk of the Abhyss" from your Deck to the GY.
2. Use the effect of "Nihil" in your hand to send "Curse, Dawn of the Abhyss" from your Deck to the GY.
3. Special Summon "Null" from your GY with its own effect.
4. Tribute "Null" to Special Summon "Curse" from the GY with its first effect, and then Special Summon "Nihil" from the GY with its second effect.
"Null" will be banished afterwards.
5. Upon the Special Summon of "Nihil," add "Snake Lily of the Abhyss" from your Deck to your hand.
6. Tribute "Nihil" to Special Summon "Aleth" from the GY with its first effect, and then return "Null" and "Nihil" to the GY with its second effect.
7. Link Summon either "Reptilianne Echidna" or "Alien Shocktrooper M-Frame" with "Aleth" and "Curse" as material, as you will need a Link-2 Reptile for later.
8. Use the first effect of "Snake Lily of the Abhyss" to send a Reptile-type monster from your Deck to the GY, then Special Summon it from the GY using its second effect. You may choose any Reptile from the Main Deck for this purpose, but if you have more "Alien" monsters in hand that you may wish to combo with, I would recommend the new "Alien Buster" monster, for reasons I will elaborate in the next step.
9. Link Summon "Cosmic Pincer Ze'loor" using your Link-2 Reptile and your Reptile that you summoned via "Snake Lily" as material. If the non-Link Reptile was "Alien Buster," you can chain "Alien Buster" to the summon of "Ze'loor" to place two A-Counters on it, in order to use its effect two remove 2 A-Counters for an extra Normal Summon.
10. On its Link Summon, use the effect of "Ze'loor" to search "Alien Kid." Normal Summon "Alien Kid."

I wasn't super excited for Dawn of Majesty to come out, because I'm not a fan of the Stardust cards that they're pushing, but I am definitely excited for the continued wave of support that Reptile monsters are getting. More combo tutorials to come!
