A Research Project
Submitted for the subject of
Inquiries Investigation and Immersion
General Mariano Alvarez Technical High School

The study was conducted to build a game application using Godot (a game engine) that can enhance student’s vocabulary. The purpose of this study is to enhance the vocabulary of the student’s.
The researcher used evaluative research design to assess the overall performance of the game application. The game is created and programmed using a game engine called Godot. The researchers tested the device overall performance in terms of its functionality, game interfaces
and efficiency.
Upon the evaluation, the researchers concluded that the game application was able to satisfy the user’s expectation in terms of functionality, game interfaces and efficiency.
Additionally, the game was able to perform its primary aim , that is to enhance learners vocabulary by familiarizing and exposing them to different words therefore they learn something new that can be use for future references. This means that Lexicology is performing its function
as an effective game application for enhancing vocabulary and should be played to learn and have fun.

The researchers would like to express their sincerest gratitude to all individuals who had contributed their efforts, time, knowledge, and resources in fulfilling all the pre-requisite actions which led in the completion of the study, especially to the following:
Mrs. Ma. Rowena S. Peñafiel. Teacher in Inquiry, Investigation and Immersion (III) for her unwavering support and guidance in finishing this paper;
Mrs. Cherry Rose S. Uminga, class adviser, for all her support especially in the use of all resources available in the laboratory;
