4 Ways to Mount the Schoeps CMIT 5 on a RAD-2 Shock Mount

This video explains 4 ways you can setup a Schoeps CMIT 5 microphone on a RAD-2 Shock Mount for indoor and outdoor use.

Whilst the setups shown in this video are how we would suggest trying out, there are actually no "right or wrong" ways to setup the RAD-2 mounts with the Schoeps CMIT 5. The RAD-2 comes with 3 pairs of hoops -- soft, standard and extra firm. You may find a way of placing the different firmness hoops in different positions that works better for your particular recording situation.

The RAD shock mounts can be used with boom poles, stands or quick release tips with 3/8 inch threads. For wind protection for the Schoeps CMIT 5, we make the Radius 15cm Shotgun Mic Foam and 15cm Nimbus Slide-On Windshield.
